Solarus Won First Runner-up for Swedish Enviromental Innovation 2009
The prize winners for Miljöinnovation09 were announced earlier this week and Solarus came in second out of many interesting environment related innovations across the whole nation. Miljöinnovation09 is an annual environmental innovation contest in Sweden that focuses on innovation that creates new, successful products and services that reduce the global environmental and climate problems.
The jury believes that “ eco-innovation from “Solarus” can be of great importance to establish solar energy as a major source of energy in the global market due to the cost effectiveness of the product and the capability of simultaneously provide electricity and heat.”
