Solarus

The technology from Solarus allowed us to increase the output of the solar cell part of our module by cooling it, thus allowing it to work under optimal temperatures. PV Modules from Solarus therefore, use a much smaller amount of the expensive silicon material, achieving lower cost per W in comparison to standard PV modules.

The present version of Solarus PV modules uses a silicon ribbon solar cell with an efficiency between 13.2% to 16.7%. However, as solar cell technology advances, the efficiency of our PV modules could be further improved. Regardless of the type of solar cell used in our PV modules, our technology allows us to maximize the output from the solar cell and hence achieving the same level of output with less material.

We strongly believe that the cost reduction through our material efficient technology will be able to bring down the cost of solar energy on par with traditional sources of energy in the near future.
